It doesn’t seem the pandemic will be coming to a halt just yet as Joe Bidden speaks on new Covid19 Omicron variant.

On Monday, President Joe Biden addressed the nation as news about the new COVID-19 variant  omicron continues to spread, and officials start to take precautions before it possibly makes its way to the United States.

During his address, Biden said that there were three messages that he wanted people to take away from his address. He said, “First, this variant is a cause for concern, not a cause for panic. We have the best vaccine in the world. The best medicines, the best scientists, and we’re learning more every single day. And we’ll fight this variant with scientific and knowledgeable actions and speed. Not chaos and confusion.” 

According to @abcnews, a travel advisory was put into place after the omicron variant was first detected in Botswana.
