For Steph Cee, creativity became more than an outlet—it became a way to exhale. What began as quiet moments spent creating fashion neckties soon became something deeply personal: making room for her mental health, rediscovering joy, and finding beauty in the process.
“This was just a way for me to sit, create and focus on what matters.”
— Steph Cee
Steph Cee never set out to create a collection. About a month ago, she simply needed a place to put her energy—a quiet way to sit, focus, create, and give her mind room to breathe. What started with fashion neckties quickly became something more personal: a creative ritual that helped her step away from the weight of everyday life, even if only for the duration of a project.
In a world that constantly asks us to keep moving, keep producing, and keep carrying what we rarely say out loud, creating became her way of making space for herself.

What began as a simple creative escape soon revealed something deeper. For Steph, each piece became an opportunity to slow down, work with her hands and temporarily release the thoughts and pressures that can become so easy to carry.
There was no business plan behind it. No collection mapped out in advance. The process itself was the purpose — creating something beautiful while giving herself permission to exhale.
“We all have something that we carry.”
— Steph Cee
For Steph, creating the neckties became a way to make space for what she was feeling without having to explain every feeling out loud. The act of choosing fabrics, arranging details and finishing each piece offered a temporary place to set down some of the weight.
In that process, she found a reminder that caring for your mental health does not always begin with a grand solution. Sometimes it begins with finding one thing that quiets the noise long enough for you to hear yourself again.
“It’s okay to find comfort in something that just takes you away.”
— Steph Cee
Creativity does not erase the pressures of life, but sometimes it creates enough distance to breathe, reset and return to yourself with a little more clarity.
MAKE ROOM FOR WHAT BRINGS YOU BACK TO YOU
Steph’s neckwear may have started as a personal form of release, but the message behind it reaches much further. Find the thing that helps you breathe. Make time for what restores you. Give yourself permission to step away from the noise and create space for joy, clarity and peace.
