Rihanna’s idea of swimwear? Lingerie, of course.
Rather than wearing a bikini to the pool like the rest of us, the singer decided to take a dip wearing two Savage x Fenty looks that were anything but your average swimsuits. On Sunday, the lingerie brand’s Instagram account shared several photos of Rih posing in a red see-through bodysuit with a plunging neckline. She wore her hair short and in a pixie cut, which expertly showed off the unitard’s T-strap back with a rose gold “X” medallion at the top.
“Subtle summer? We don’t know her… 💅🏾,” read one caption as Rih leaned up against the pool’s steps, while in another snapshot she laid on her side in the shallow end.
For her second and final look, Rihanna wore a matching bra and panty set in the same shade and pattern as the bodysuit. She accessorized with gold chains and rectangular sunglasses with iridescent lenses. “Billion dollar smile,” read the caption.
Puzzled by why she would wear lingerie to go swimming and not an actual bathing suit, many fans wondered if swimwear could be Fenty’s next category to tackle. “Is this a bra or are we finally getting Savage swimwear?” questioned one fan. Another exclaimed, “Do swimwear!!!!” Just one more thing to add to her billion dollar empire…
