This is Steph Cee~ CEO and Founder of Melanin Power! There was just so much that happened in the past 12 months. The family Health challenges that took the entire family to a level that was devastating, the journey to get back to a place of life, so much to dive into. Where do I start? Well Texas is as best the place to start as ever.
Texas Fashion Week 2025
- September 2025: I flew to Dallas Texas for the Dallas International Fashion Week with non-other than the incomparable Designer “TanyaMariethedesigner”. What a beautiful soul, we had such a blast, Tanya brought in designs that had your draw dropping. The models were excited and because everything looked just fabulous, the models could not decide what they looked best in. Suffice to say that TM had Texas on fire that week. I look forward to doing this all over again in 2026. Edgingtine clearly knows the manner of being host, thank you Beautiful, you were so kind and welcoming, here are some designs from the Talented and Beautiful TanyaMariethedesigner/TM runway show.
New York Fashion Week 2025
Then came NY Fashion Week, where we lit NYC on fire! I had the opportunity to meet some beautiful people; we stayed in the Historical Harlem and also attended Harlem Fashion week, what an adventure. It was the most fun and because this is where I lived for many years, it was bittersweet leaving the cold and getting back to the warmth of my new home. Here are some shots of us taking NYC streets by storm with designer TanyaMariethedesigner aka TM.

NY Fashion week was so much fun and I look forward to 2026!!
Harlem NY Highlights: I was given the opportunity to chat with the owner (Antoinette) of Hempsville Harlem that specializes in CBD Infused Products. I was a bit skeptical about the word CBD, but if you’re in pain of any sort, visit Hempsville Harlem for the all your aches and pain. It’s a guaranteed fixer. In closing, I learned a lot in 2025, with the challenges came a lesson in compassion, I learned that sometimes you win and sometimes you Learn, Thank you all for following and supporting Melanin Power in 2025. I look forward to your Love and support for 2025..
